An abstract piece that I rushed out right before the final reviews of my first year at the Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague, for the painting classes of Bob Nieuwenhuysen.
Yes, I was rather confused by that information! At any rate, liked this enough to take a closer look and glad I did. Wonderful sense of movement and something of anger in it; encapsulated in the fact the black strip with the white froth in front of it brings to mind a very hungry shark. A touch scary, which is what I like in a painting; an emotional response.
